What’s the challenge for the day today?

Sometimes, I get distracted with no positive outcome.
Am I alone? Be Honest.

The Challenge

Being a creator has so many wonderful opportunities that are presented daily.

The biggest challenge is the necessity to avoid distraction.

I am a professional Squirrel Hunter and get distracted all the time.

I’m not bragging.

However, I can get distracted by the smallest interruption or activity.

Updating a website, I might see an update that I want to learn more about, and BOOM, a free ticket to Wanderland.

Wander over to this site and that site. Wander here and there.

I have to get up and walk around and reset my focus.

Considerations

I have a few programs that I use to practice focus when I’m working to complete a deadline and have to complete a deadline.

I like turning off notifications and launching an app called Sukha that times me and also reminds me to take breaks.

It includes some gamification and rewards you for time spent on the app.

My favorite feature is the ability to play music.

I connected it to my Spotify account and can play my own playlists,

It helps me in my ability to focus for an extended amount of time.

My point is that I have ways to avoid my tendency to get distracted,

Question? Does anyone else get bothered when you listen to an “instrumental” playlist and the first few songs have vocals?

I just jumped into distraction mode. Is it just me who gets annoyed?
